Andi Schrader & Antje Liebscher Retreat 30 September – 09 October 2027

Dancing with Color: Painting your inner life and Playing on Canvas

A transformational retreat where large-scale, playful, expressive painting becomes a pathway to personal discovery in a supportive community.

Surrounded by the beauty of the Perigord region, this retreat invites you to reconnect with your creativity, your inner landscape, and the joy of shared artistic exploration. Through inspiring and playful instruction in the elements and principles of design alongside movement, meditation, and intuitive mark-making, you’ll strengthen both your artistic skills and your confidence to create from a place that is deeply personal, expressive, and free from perfection. Gathering with community means you’ll be loved and held with encouragement and friendship as you experiment with both art and ways of being. You’ll have a certified creativity coach on this journey to help you recognize when your inner critic flares up and how your personality is expressed in your art. We will dive into the Enneagram to learn how your creative and relational expression serves you well and sometimes limits you.

Unique to this retreat:
Two leaders to support and inspire you! Antje, a wise and gifted artist; and Andi, a certified coach and artist.
*Large Canvas Painting: Art retreats rarely allow for this, but beside art journaling, we’ll paint on canvas (up to 1 m x 1.4 m) which will be rolled for easy transport home. Travel cylinders provided.
*Personal Creativity Coaching: As desired, each guest can have a one hour personal coaching session. Group coaching will be woven throughout the entire retreat. Fees included in retreat.
*All Art Supplies provided: No extra shopping for you + easier packing! We’ll provide everything you need. Supply fees included in retreat cost.
*Enneagram workshop: If this is new to you or a personality tool already in your awareness, see how your Type and your creative expression relate.

*(These unique offerings alone are a €400 value!)

Some days we will stay in the studio, while most days involve excursions to quaint French towns. Tuning into music, light, nature, and the changing rhythms within ourselves, each day will offer playful exercises in both art journaling and large canvas work. Together, we will explore the elements and principles of design in a warm, encouraging atmosphere where curiosity matters more than experience. This retreat is a celebration of individuality, connection, and the quiet magic that happens when women gather to create.

Come as you are — and leave with a treasured journal, painted canvas, and a heart nourished by color, beauty, self discovery and sweet community.

To Beautiful Locations

A Day out Looks Like this:

You’ll start your day with a breakfast of freshly baked French pastries, homemade yoghurt, or fresh fruit, which you can enjoy in the conservatory as you watch the sun rise. On excursions days, we’ll head out around 9 am when the places we visit are quiet and the weather is perfect.

You can spend a morning exploring side streets and feel the local atmosphere or by sitting in a quiet spot to do some sketching. There’s always a beautiful picnic lunch of fresh salads, quiches, homemade cookies, and much more waiting in the shade when you’re ready to eat-wine included!

In the afternoons we generally head back to the studio (open 24/7) for some creativity or time to use the pool, nap or find a quiet spot for reading, sunbathing, painting or chatting.

Evenings are a retreat highlight enjoying a homemade, locally sourced 3-course meal complete with wine. Chef Katel really is the star of the show; you won’t be disappointed with her cooking!

After dinner, you’re free to head back to the studio to paint, enjoy the sunset or use the hot tub. There are plenty of little walks to take, lots of nature to experience, or time to reflect on your day with new friends.

We design our workshops so that everyone gets what they want out of their time with us.
