Andi is coming back to host her 4th workshop with us, this time with her husband and partner Andi.
When we arrive at the age of 50, we begin to view life differently. We still ask “what’s next?” but with a fresh awareness of time passing. This retreat is designed to foster deep reflection and conversations about our “third half” of life—those next 10-25 years that, for many of us, are approaching fast.

During our time together we will share our hopes, dreams and fears around aging. This workshop may even become the basis for future gatherings at the heart of a growing community of conscious elders. Exploring the magic of the Perigord region with its’ medieval villages, historic sights and innate charm is an extraordinary setting to expand your sense of your place in humanity’s journey as we gain a long-term perspective on time from this cradle of civilization in France.
The creative spaces at Perigord Retreats will enable us to explore the connection between aging and creativity. Sketching, watercolor, collage, poetry and playful immersion amidst the ancient oaks and lavender fields will enhance conversations and intuitive awareness.
You’ll come home with renewed hope and possibility for what your next decade could mean, as well as a visual timeline of your life story. Exploring your narrative identity will help you to rewrite both your current story and the story you’ve been telling yourself about your future. Connecting in a safe space with fellow travelers, sharing meals together and living in creative joy for ten days just might change your life!

One of the most beautiful villages in France. Incredibly picturesque. Perfect for shopping & painting.
About andi & Dave Schrader
Dave and Andi Schrader have been curating group experiences together for four decades. As they enter this season of ‘elder hood’ it makes sense that their expertise in crafting meaningful journeys would show up in this workshop! Both are leadership coaches and experts in group dynamics. Andi is an artist and has led three groups at Perigord Retreats and taken many others on trips to Wales and other locations. Dave is a principal with Leadership Circle and a certified spiritual director. He travels globally to help leaders increase their awareness and compassion.
