Your Time With Jeanne
Your days will be full of capturing the gorgeous landscapes all around us! We will start our time together creating hand bound sketchbooks that will be filled to the brim after our sessions. Whether you are brand new to creating art or experienced, our time together will be fun, relaxing and you will come away with fresh inspiration. We will work in charcoal and graphite to warm up, inspired by our sketches we will work in watercolor and gouache, I will share techniques and mediums to quickly capture the world around us, we will sketch and paint on location and we will create gorgeous linoprints of this region. You will never look at the landscapes around you the same again and you will leave with gorgeous abstract work that you are proud of!
Jeanne is married to her dream maker, Kelly, and the mother of three funny and creative children. She homeschools her children even though she has tried to get out of it a few times. You can often find her hiking, creating in her studio and finding an excuse to have another cup of coffee. She speaks and teaches all around the country and abroad. She was told that she needed to find that one thing but she doesn’t like listening to directions so she embraces many loves and that has given her a sweet mash-up of family, art, and travel. Connecting with women and sharing that each of us has been creatively made is one of her passions.
Jeanne is also a best-selling author, creator of the online art school jeanneoliver.com with over 80,000 members from around the world, creator of the Creatively Made Business curriculum, and podcaster.
“I produce large scale abstracted landscapes with a focus on the materiality of the paint to allude to emotion and feeling within the natural space.”
