Cathy is hosting back-to-back workshops with us this year, catching the best of the lavender and sunflower seasons. This will be here 3rd & 4th workshops with us. Cathy aims to capture the sense that nothing is perfect – we have challenges, heartaches, changes & losses in our lives, but there is always a way for joy and hope to emerge. Torn fragments of paper from my life and travels form the textured backdrop for the bright flowers and birds I paint. These fragments are like our memories and experiences. Each is unique, layered and filled with stories.

Charlotte Hamilton

Empowering artists to take the creative risk.

I’m on a creative journey, constantly surprised by what unfolds on my canvas. I’m deeply drawn to painting the human figure, exploring its emotional vulnerability in everyday life. My work reflects the impermanence of existence, using bold strokes and unfinished lines.
