1. Reservations and Deposits
1.1 A 500 euro non-refundable deposit per participant is due at time of registration to reserve a spot.
50% of payment is due when the retreat is guaranteed (i.e. the minimum number of particpants is reached). Final payment of the balance of the trip cost is due no later than 180 days before the trip. Missing the final payment deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation.
2. Retreat cancellation policy
If Perigord Retreats elects to cancel the workshop for any reason, including insufficient attendance, the entire amount paid to Perigord will be refunded within 30 days after the workshop’s cancellation. In the unlikely event this should occur, Perigord has no other obligations to Participant for cancelled retreats, including, but not limited to, costs or fees related to the issuance and/or cancellation of airline tickets or other travel reservations not made by Perigord Retreats.
Perigord Retreats has no responsibility to provide refunds if the workshop is cancelled as a result of risk or threat of war, riot, civil strife, strike, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural disaster, fire, travel bans or other similar events beyond Perigord Retreats’ control.
In the unlikely event that the designated art instructor is unable to attend the workshop, Perigord may, at its sole discretion, substitute a qualified instructor to teach the course or cancel the trip. If Perigord cancels the trip, Perigord will refund amounts paid by Participants to Perigord as provided above.
3. Insurance
Perigord does not offer travel insurance and will not be responsible to Participant for any costs except as specifically provided in this Agreement. Personal travel insurance is, therefore, strongly suggested to cover Participant’s costs such as airline tickets, loss of luggage, trip delays, medical evacuation, medical expenses, reimbursement for accommodations, workshop tuition and other retreat costs.
4. Travel
4.1 We will collect guests from Marakech airport on the arrival date. Flights should be arranged based on this time so that there is not extended waiting periods. All guests will be taken to Marrakech airport on the morning of the departure date.
5. COVID
5.1 If a retreat is cancelled due to COVID (i.e. the two countries concerned explicitly ban travel from one country to the other), we will provide a full refund or reschedule the retreat.
Disclaimer
In no event shall Perigord Retreats or its officers, Directors, Employees and Affiliates be liable to the customer for any injury, loss, or damage directly or indirectly arising from, or any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, incurred by passenger in connection with (i) the holiday purchased hereby, including without limitation, any associated transportation, activities, and accommodations, whether prior, during or after the holiday, (ii) any act, omission, neglect, accident, error or default of third parties, providing services in connection with the holiday, (iii) the alteration of the passenger’s itinerary when advisable or necessary for the safety and/or well being of the customer, (iv) any act of terrorism, war, accident, weather or any act of God.
No refund will be given if guests are no longer able to attend the painting holiday, regardless of the time period before the start of the holiday.
Here at Perigord Retreats we are deeply and permanently committed to preserving the environment. Each of us can and must do our bit to preserve nature and protect our fellow men – we count on your collaboration too. Water is precious, please do not waste it. Our vegetation and plants are very important so please respect our nature.
Acceptance on the booking form is considered acceptance of the above conditions.
