We (Andi and Joy) are delighted to team up again with stellar hosts, Harrison and Katel, for our Marrakech Moments Retreat! This colorful, historic, and vibrant setting is the perfect place to deepen a sense of presence and spark your creative soul in unique ways. It’s our mission to awaken creativity in our guests. Your Time With Andi & Joy
No matter what level of creativity you engage in, this will suit you. We’ll have supplies for capturing the color palettes, textures, scents, sights and tastes of these mysterious north African surroundings. Be inspired with sketching, mixed media, block printing and stitching. Uncover bits of your soul with reflections and word art. As always, we will support your journey as Enneagram informed, certified coaches, so your experience in community and on location becomes a transformative retreat.
Accommodations are in a luxurious domaine surrounded by a beautiful olive grove with views of the Atlas Mountains. Just BEING THERE will be inspirational! Pool time and rest will be in order and, for those coming from winter temps, the sun will be a welcome gift. Joy and Andi have had guests cheerfully share how their exploratory creative retreats feel like ‘art camp.’ Morocco promises to be next level as guests engage in the sensory experiences of Marrakech and beyond. Potential Itinerary:
Flights – there are direct flights to Marrakesh from Houston, San Francisco, Newark, Atlanta, and Chicago. For our Canadian friends: direct flights are also available from Toronto and Montreal.
Day 1: Arrival at the airport, transfer by private car to the domaine. Settle in, relax and explore the property. Evening meal at the domaine.
Day 2: Guided tour of the Souks in the Medina followed by lunch at a unique venue.
Day 3: Exploring the Atlas mountains with a couple of stops at interesting spots, a picnic lunch and some gardens in the afternoon.
Day 4: Slower, more relaxed day, painting at the domaine, optional trip into Marrakech
Day 5: Visit to the Yves Saint Laurent museum& Jardins Majorelle + tea.
Day 6: Exploring/painting the Koutoubia mosque at sunset as well as exploring the vibrant Jemaa el-fnaa square, rooftop drinks.
Day 7: Second visit to the Souks and a special farewell dinner.
Day 8: Breakfast followed by departure for the airport via private car.
There are equally lots of other activities we can organise depending on your group. More plein air painting, Camel rides, a visit to a Berber village, and other historical and cultural sites to visit in Marrakesh. Pottery or rug making. Each retreat will vary slightly depending on the group and of course there will be plenty of time for painting each day.

Tuition
Every day you will receive group and one-to-one tuition outside or in the studio in the form of demonstrations and individual feedback.

Fresh baked goods, fresh fruit salads & continental style breakfasts every day. Locally produced, freshly cooked lunches and evening meals. We will visit a couple of restaurants.
