Our retreats are curated specifically and uniquely for each group to make sure that you get the most out of your 10 days here. If you like flowers, history, landscapes, or architecture, we take you to the best spots.

You don’t have to worry about anything, just focus on enjoying your experience, creating beautiful paintings & incredible memories.

Every night, you’ll eat locally sourced and deliciously prepared food cooked in-house by Katel (if you don’t believe us, check our reviews 😉). Picnic lunches with panoramic views and wine (of course).

“My stay at Perigord Retreats was magical from day one. Our hosts Harrison and Katel saw to it that everything was perfect for a week of painting in a beautiful studio with Katrina Koltes, exploration and excursions to spectacular sights like Chateau des Milandes and breathtaking Rocamadour, and the scrumptious meals prepared lovingly prepared for us by Katel. There was so much comraderie and laughter. This is the place to go if you are ready for the best painting retreat ever.”

Bronna Steiman

“Mind blown. Harrison, Katel and their team treated us like family from the first meeting. The food was exquisite, beautifully presented, and so delicious the extra kilos were worth it.
The retreat ensured a complete immersion in the beauty and serenity of Southern France with misty mornings and stunning sunsets across Perigord’s oak trees and lavender field to the excursions that were visually stimulating and steeped in culture.”

Pam Eade

“I felt so taken care of by hosts Katel and Harrison who were very kind and fun! Katel’s gourmet cooking was absolutely delicious and flavoured to perfection. Harrison was an amazing tour guide bringing us to castles, medieval towns , canoeing and caves, sharing the history and stories. It was a true vacation having every detail looked after. The grounds are so beautiful with gardens, trees, a lavender field, pool and hot tub. I truly felt at home with all the perks of gorgeous and special resort!”

Tailored Workshops

We adapt the places we visit depending on the time of year and the individual needs of the group.

Spring
Is the best time of year to paint outside, visit poppy fields and our flowering lavender.

Summer
Catches the peak of the lavender season as well as the fields of sunflowers. The days are long and we have plenty of time for exploring the local area as well as kayaking/canoeing down the river.

Autumn
The sun is lower in the sky, the leaves start to turn yellow and golden brown but the weather is often incredible for painting outside. The vineyards look amazing.

Of course, our studio is avaiable all throughout the year, so whether you prefer painting outside or creating in the studio, we have something for everyone.
